I'm very behind, as I've been busy, but I can at least offer tidbits until I find more time, right?
A few weeks ago, one of my roommates, T, who is a very clever wordsmith (in conversation: it's up to me to write the things down), was talking about something car-related....I only overheard part of the phrase but the conversation went like this:
"Did you say, out of body mechanic?"
"No, I said auto body mechanic."
Upon which everyone immediately began having an image of an out of body mechanic and how very useful that would be. He could make house calls - or, more than house calls: his astral body could come fix your auto body, and he could probably do it while you both slept. Talk about convenient. Everyone is always trying to find a good mechanic that won't screw you - well, actually, I have a really good mechanic, and they are almost as convenient as an out of body one, but they are flesh & blood.
It got me thinking about astral therapists and astral dentists and astral acupuncturists - you get the idea. I'm not saying it's going to happen tomorrow or anything, but we have to conceive of things before we can execute them, and I kind of like this idea.
