Synchronicity

I just want to mention that after quoting the Matrix last time, I went home, and my partner J - with no prompting from me - suggested we start the trilogy. After watching the 2nd movie when it came out years ago, and not thinking too much of it, a friend, M, recently convinced us that we must see both 2 and 3, and judge them as one movie. So...we started, naturally, with the first one.

The Matrix was over 10 years ago, but it really holds up. I was amazed at how it worked on many levels at once: plot-wise, yes, but also politically & spiritually. It's really seeped into our culture. I mean, I knew there was no spoon before I saw the movie, but now I know lots of other people know about that as well.

The movie popping up, unrelated, after I'd spent some energy on it earlier in the day made me think of synchronicity. I'm not one who believes in coincidences, but rather assumes that since the universe is a whole is connected at some point on ALL levels, and connected on our physical/mental plane on many levels, things naturally may present as patterns, especially if you are atune to them. So, I'm not suprised when things seem to magically hang together, but I am always delighted.

We also watched the Back to the Future Trilogy recently, during which I had a revelation about the nature of not just the space-time continnum but also the nature of reality as a whole, but it's a bit too complicated to go into now...but next time....
